I don't see myself moving up from the TG-6 to the 7.

4year….only change Micro-usb to Type-c(usb2.0 speed😑), expensive 100 dollars. WTF🤷‍♂️

did they just rebrand TG-6 and placed a type-c? nothing have changed after 4 years...

In four years, they were able to change the charging port from Micro-B to Type-C. Perfect!

one other big differere is the TG6 says Olympus on it, i gave my TG5 to my daughter, and bought myself the TG6 for this reason, to those who are on the market for the fist time for a tough camera, i would say, buy the OM TG7 if you can afford it, if not get the Olympus TG 6 and save some cash for accessories .
Not sure this is still the case, but i read somewhere in the fine print that for the guarantee to be valid the camera should be sent in to have new rubber seals fitted, (how often, i cant remember) so maybe the newer TG7 might be better option, as well as TG6 2019 chips and motherboards, TG7 2023 hopefully newer parts ? hope this helps.
