LSU's Terrance Laird won this highly anticipated 100m dash at the 2021 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championship in Eugene, Oregon. Houston's Shaun Maswanganyi was second. Georgia freshman Matthew Boling ran 10.19 and finished 6th.

HUGE shoutout to Joseph Amoah, from Coppin State University, the ONLY HBCU representative in this final!! Every other school has multimillion dollar budgets because they're football powerhouses so for him to have qualified for the final is phenomenal.
