As the material over time gets exposed to heat. This is what creates the flammable condition. Double check your clearance specs

I like the fact there's no chimney, so that super-long stove pipe will help heat the high ceiling room. BUT - it doesn't look 14" from the wall to me. I'd make sure the wall behind is okay. If it heats up and cools down all the time, pretty soon you're gonna get cracks in that wall. A good heat shield would help, and reflect heat back into the room. And fill in that hole at the top, lol!

Would have been smart to put backer board before the fireplace

What is the wall material behind the stove? Doesn't the studded wall count as a combustible wall unless there is a heat shield attached?
Edit: what's the floor material? You likely require ember protection as well.

Appreciated. I’m in similar situation where best aesthetic place for stove is on shortest part of roof which causes you to spend more on the more expensive pipe outside to get over roof ridge: I think from a cost factor, it’s best to get as close to the ridge as possible. Any thoughts?

by the use of spray foam, plus I see now fire rated lumber used around that fire box in the roof…. Always remember fire can happen anywhere. Our job as tradesman is to prevent the fire from happening or even slowing down the process to save lives and foundations. Great build guys and the building looks great, just that corner scares the shit out of me. Definitely would have done it differently, but hey I’m just a damn guy on YouTube who cares lol

Something doesn’t seem right about this. Tho I could be wrong. Maybe the back wall will be tile or cement board.✌️

It’s not 14” away from the wall. The closest part to the wall is much much closer.

16” is usually the minimum… and that’s to a finished wall . Make sure you run non combustible material all the way up..
