Orlando reporter Dylan Lyons killed in shooting while covering a murder

A 19-year-old suspected of shooting and killing a woman early Wednesday in Pine Hills, Florida, is now suspected of shooting and killing an Orlando journalist and a 9-year-old girl, and seriously injuring a second journalist and the girl's mom in a series of shootings.

As of 2023-JULY-31: the name of the suspect is Keith Melvin Moses. March 8, 2023, indictment lists 16 counts including three second-degree murder counts. It has to be second-degree because only a grand jury can hand down first-degree. Moses pled not-guilty. Apr 2, 2023, grand jury upgrades murder charges to first-degree. May 12, 2023, the prosecutor announced they are seeking the death penalty. March 1, 2023, the governor of Florida demanded the release of Moses' personal records despite the fact that it could lead to a mistrial and asked in a letter why Moses wasn't in "prison for life" for his long history of breaking into vehicles as a child.
