Reminds me of the scene in Rock n Rolla where the main character, who has a lot in common with the prodigal son, plays the piano and goes on a monologue about cigarettes. Guy Richie is like a character in one of his films. That's class.

Prodigal son is about returning back to God's good grace. And forgiveness, God loves us and welcomes us back when we turn away from our sinful past. Guy Richie trying to pervert the story into some self absorbed self worshipping complex extensionalism crap. Jesus' parables are simple and to the point. Not preaching just saying.
