Spiral - Movie Review (Why SAW Still Sucks)

This is my review for the new SAW movie, Spiral: The Book of Saw. Let me explain what works, what didn't, and how a sequel (Spiral 2) could be better.

I feel it's just the new Jigsaw Voice, it doesnt give us the chills as the OG one did

For me, Spiral has the most uninteresting and underwhelming ending of all the Saw movies. When the last scenes of Spiral came, I found the conclusion so lame, that I laughed...Yes, I laughed during the ending of a Saw movie. Oh and the new bad guy / the new Jigsaw copycat is not intriguing at all and he doesn't have any presence or charisma, which is very underwhelming too.

Before Spiral came out, Saw 7 was by far my least favorite Saw movie (honestly, I just find it awful), but now, it's possible that I find Spiral even worse. Spiral doesn't feel like a Saw movie: it lacks this particular "Saw vibe" which makes the entries of the franchise captivating and appealing in a weird way. But it doesn't propose anything original or refreshing either...It's bland and forgettable.

I don't care what people say about this franchise. The first 7 movies, even with their flaws, were just amazing.
Anything that came after, "Jigsaw" and now this "Spiral-non-sense" crap, could've been avoided.
They absolutely made no effing sense at all, and didn't add anything to the OG franchise either.

I'm down for however many more saw sequels we need until we can get a co-op "Lego: Saw" game 😎
Or at least until jigsaw makes it into smash and gets an amiibo
