In 2006 my 82 y/o father in a wheelchair going from TX to WA state for his brother’s funeral was denied boarding a plane because he was on a “military watch list.” I went holistic. “Of course he is on your military list. He served 36 years in the USAF in 3 wars, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was a fighter pilot and was in charge of thousands of men. Of course he would be on a military list. I want to speak to your supervisor.” My dad was completely disabled and stage 5 Alzheimer’s because of Agent Orange after Vietnam. Now how can he be viewed a terrorist? After causing a scene and entertains a huge crowd my father was allowed to travel to his brother’s funeral. It they did go through all his stuff and confiscated his heart monitor box for his pacemaker. They went through all of his 32 medications. His brother flew with the Flying Tigers in the China Theater. These men deserve to be treated with honor and respect. TV
