She is NOT WRONG. I have been saying this for YEARS. As a biology major we studied this is class. America is over processed, over fed and we want to act as if this is okay!! It’s not!!

As an Indian, I totally agree with her. We used to eat real food back in the days now it's all modified imported seeds which is easy to grow(consume less water) but has like 30% of the original nutrients(conservative estimate).
So I have to eat atleast thrice to acquire same amount of nutrients as the original crop.
Another thing is Mother nature already provide us with best local food depending on the climate we live in, local foods are easy to digest which isn't the case for imported foods/seeds.
I umderstand the need for modificatiom & it can be considered a good temperary solution but let's not le it be a permanent thing.

I have high blood pressure. I went to West Africa. I took my medication and became sick. My blood pressure was too low. I only ate fresh food while there. As a result, my blood pressure lowered itself. I didn't take the medication the rest of the time I was there. When I came back to the states, my blood pressure went back up, and it took two weeks to be able to eat the food here without feeling sick.

This is a throwaway account I use, but I create comic books and work with a lot of Russian artists. I've never met a russian person who is disrespectful or mean, they're quite kind, intelligent, and civilized people - they just have different views on the world. I wouldn't want to live in their country or under their rule, but that's not a negative reflection on them as individuals.
