DIY gravity fed drip system using a milk jug

Who says a medical science degree has nothing to do with gardening ?! Tomato plants need approx 1-2 inches of water per square foot per week and if like me you don't have a fancy irrigation system it can mean a lot of time watering by hand... or huge water bills when you have left the hose running and forgotten about it !
Using just a milk jug and some drip irrigation parts i created an IV drip for my tomato plants which means, less time watering, more efficient watering of the roots and less water run off.

Most interesting! My garden isn't as big as yours but life would be easier with drop irrigation and the gallon jug method is perfect! Thanks!

Thank you!! So simple and smart. Could you share an update on how well this system did? TIA 🌱🌱

Please let me know what type of blue drip emitters you used where the head screws off and one can attach a 1/4 inch irrigation line?

Lol😂 you've got the hose out, you might as well water the plants with it.
