DHCP relay not working Cisco

This is a quick video on an issue I ran into recently where DHCP clients were not obtaining addresses even though the router had ip-helper statements configured and the DHCP server was reachable and functioning. This was caused by the 'no service dhcp' command being entered in the config. This command turns off the internal DHCP services on the router as well as the DHCP relay functionality. Turning it on by entering 'service dhcp' resolved the issue.

Thanks for providing this tip. I learned something new today. I have been troubleshooting my problem and on most of the L2 switches I had service dhcp enabled, but on a couple of them I didn’t have it enabled.
Thanks!

How do you disable the ip dhcp relay information option server-id-override?
