I remember when Jake did his Minghals stream. With the faction system it was truly broken. Basically free coring. Unbelievable.

It's a shame you glanced over how DDRJake's version of the Minghals was even more broken than the current incarnation.

Namely because Ming's factions used to give far bigger bonuses which were offset by the crippling 'Inward Perfection' modifier. His trick got rid of Inward Perfection while keeping Ming's factions so that he could do ridiculous things like instantly core provinces for free. (Some of the faction bonuses at the time were: -75% tech cost, -100% advisor cost, -100% core creation cost, +25% discipline, -100% build cost, etc.)

Jake says they won't be removing the "Minghal" option any time soon. "It's not an exploit, the AI won't ever do it and if you want to do it then why not" he said, or something very similar.

Great video as always. DDR's Minghals run is still one of the best EUIV things I've ever seen. It was so much harder to do back then, but it was also so very much more OP with insta-coring for no admin...

Hello, I just did it in 1484 (without MoH), and if there's one point that should really be pointed out is:
DO NOT TAKE A SINGLE UNNECESSARY PROVINCE.
Seriously, the wars were extremely easy since you can just threaten the Kham, and U-tsang have trouble getting alliance so you can go against Nepal with almost 100% manpower and by the time you've finished, isolating Jawnpur diplomatically should be done.
No, the major downside here, is agressive expansion. If you take nepal and two provinces of Jawnpur in close time, you will get a coalition on your face, and since Delhi has very nice provinces that you have to take just to make way towards the one you want, you'll get a shit ton of AE.
So really, if you want to try this at home, it's not hard, but you have to be very, VERY cautious about a coalition forming, since getting hit by a 5-6 country coalition led by Delhi just after you've taken Jawnpur provinces is gonna set you waaaayyyy back.
