holy hell it took me so long to get it right bc i am really really stupid and can't tell the difference between one black spot to another (seriously these stupid oil spots have like 4 dark spots). but after spending an embarrassingly long time on this i finally got it. vid was super useful and very appreciated thank you!! for those struggling: when you find the dark spot you want the FIRST placement to be as much in the node as possible, it should be almost covered by the node. it's much easier to place the 2nd one after that

Consider lowering sensitivity if you have issues placing both them, I lowered my mouse, but I bet the game sensitivity would work.

Man this is rough to get right. The margin for error must be a single pixel. I'm playing on 0.3.2.55495 and managed to get this working today after about 30 minutes of trial and error. I'm just really glad you don't lose resources when you dismantle things.
