Should I disconnect the battery before RAM changing?

I successfully managed install larger RAM. so instead of 8gb = 4gb soldered and 4gb in slot. We have 16gb in slot ddr4 kingston 3200MHz + 4gb soldered = total 20gb.

I was searching on the internet what is maximum RAM amout for this model and could not found. Usually i found 12gb. Dont believe that!
