Hi Ho, Silver Lining JEFF BECK (with lyrics)

Aside from a prodigious solo output, Jeff Beck was also once a member of the cult Sixties band, The Yardbirds, and was ranked #5 in the Rolling Stones Magazine's "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time". This is the one song always associated with him, a legacy he once described as "having a pink toilet seat hung around my neck". It peaked at #14 in the UK charts back in 1967.

I remember hearing this for the first time in the Roundhouse at the Lansdowne in Bournemouth in about '66. Great group singing it, too. There was a rumour they got ripped off by some recording studio who released their recording under another name. They didn't even get the royalties because, unknowingly, they'd signed a backing group tour contract.
True? Who knows?
