DeSantis is busy again trying to drum up attention. He's stated that he won't act out of fear regarding Monkeypox. He said the same thing about COVID. Why is he so negative? He's thinking about FEAR (and how his followers love that word) rather than thinking about preparedness. Just because someone wants to react RESPONSIBLY doesn't mean they're fearful. That would be asinine, DeSantis. Declaring a state of emergency is intended to enable government officials to take extra measures to protect the public IF NEEDED. He doesn't want that? Declaring a state of emergency may trigger anti-price gouging laws and seek state or federal funding aid for disaster response IF WARRANTED. If it's not needed, then don't use it but maybe DeSantis should think about being prepared since his state has one of the highest Monkeypox cases in the U.S. That's not fear, just reality. I won't see any replies to my comment so have a beautiful day!!

I can see they've already stopped teaching science in the state of Florida. Desantis states that other states want to restrict your freedoms. If you're not working and they're handing out unemployment, how exactly is that a 'win' for those states? What aim does anyone have when 'restricting your freedoms'? It's just interesting he has those claims without much to back it up. COVID you say? Well my friend, Florida had one of the worst death tolls with so little restrictions.
