I love how Jokic never seeks to be the hero guy but being a constant added value to the team. Even if it means he has 0 points in 10 mins. This guy is something else.

Heat obv tried to shut down Jokic and yet he still finishes with a casual triple double. What an absolute BEAST

He can play without shooting when he knows his team is shooting well. Its always about the team and never about himself 🔥🔥🔥

jokic has that tim duncan vibe in that he is endlessly infuriating to watch as an opponent … so fundamental, no flashy. insanely efficient

Jokic controls the game. Even without the ball, Miami has to watch out for him at all times. That opens up spaces for everyone else. If Miami can't get Jokic under control with one defender while still denying his passes, a sweep is likely.
There is no center in NBA history who has shown even a remotely comparable performance as a playmaker. Jokic makes passes in every game that would be career highs for other centers.

The greatest skills of jokic are his fundamentals + vision on court, SUPERB player.

Man, it's not even just Jokic, EVERYONE is play crazy, the amount of blocks and steals is insane, they play so simple and make it look easy but they are so consistent

The two "lost" seasons the Nuggets had with Porter and Murray out were a blessing in disguise. Jokic and Gordon had no choice but to develop their games on both ends. Once, Jokic was too deferential; now he's got the tools and aggression to maul opponents in single coverage. The Gordon who first arrived in Denver couldn't navigate screens cleanly, often missed rotations, and wasn't much of a rim protector. He's excellent at all those things now, and he has consistently punished teams that have tried to play off him throughout the playoffs. And kudos to MPJ for swallowing his ego and dedicating himself to defense and team ball. It's not the role he envisioned for himself coming into the league, but it looks like it might win him a ring.

Crazy to think that the Nuggets are still such a young team. All their key guys are under 30. Murray, MPJ and Gordon still have room to grow as players. They're playing wise beyond their years right now and still can be even better.

Looks like the nuggets didn't even put much effort this game. They stayed cool and under control. Tactical. I dont see how heat can break them.

The coolest part about the Jokers game is that you can stop him from scoring but he'll destroy you by finding open teammates with his excellent passing. Can't stop him.

As a Celtics fan, It's refreshing watching a team actually move the ball around and get good looks. Denver is a fun team to watch

When I saw Denver vs a very motivated lakers team I knew they will make it. They are too strong this season.

Casually Triple Doubling every game without being flamboyant. What a player Jokic is.

I feel your pain Heat fans, because as a life long Knicks fans since the 80s, I remember the 99 series where the Knicks, who were also an 8th seed, played the Spurs and were clearly outmatched.
It was such a thrilling ride through the Eastern conference that I figured they would be able to play with the giant from the West.
But no matter how hard they tried and how many runs they went on during each game, they always seemed to be down by double digits. The Spurs, like Denver, made it look effortless.
That's when reality hit me, that the Spurs were just the better team.
I think it was the first championship of Duncan's young career.
It sucks, but you can't be mad, you know not many people picked the Heat to run the tables before the playoffs started. So just enjoy the moment.
