The whole issue with being married vs single is that some ppl lose themselves in their spouse once they say I do and not have their own individual space, time, friends, etc. Its not selfish to love yourself first so that you can love others.

This is a silly debate and just another way to play women against each other. If you are married and your husband is cheating on you, if he is abusive(emotionally or physically), if you do all the work and he does nothing I'm pretty sure you are not happy even though you're married because your relationship is shitty. If you are single and you feel you don't have anyone to turn to, all the issues in your life fall on your shoulders alone and all you want is a husband and kids, then no you're not happy. It is not married vs single and which one is better. It's happy vs unhappy. You can be happy or unhappy while married and happy or unhappy while single.

I remember being single & happy, going out meeting diff ppl. & 1 day I met this man & what pulled me close 2 him were the intelligent, hilarious hour-long convo's we would have daily.... which was what pulled me all the way in. NOW, I'm very happy & content being w/ some1 that loves me so much.

I'm really tired of people saying "Her poor husband because Jeannie doesn't love him". Jeannie is not a mother like Tamera & Tamar, therefore she has less responsibility and if she wants to go out with her girl friends, who cares?. All marriages have a different way of showing their love and Jeannie isn't super public about it and that's her choice. No need to be throwing comments like "she doesn't treat her man right" because if you look at her instagram they always go on vacations together to his home ranch and she's always gushing about him.
