Author and former UK politician Rory Stewart sat with Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan and recounted the moment he found out about the September 11 terror attacks.

“I didn’t understand what had happened,” he said.

“I met a guy probably a couple of days after 9/11, and he started trying to explain to me in Nepali.

“He said it’s this tower in America, and this plane hit it, and I thought this guy was crazy.”

The former UK politician had been accused of being in Al-Qaeda following the terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in 2001.

The WTC 7 building collapsed by detonations?

I don't know who exactly done it.
I was not there when those charges were set up I've heard a number of stores.
I do know that it was not the planes that brought them down.

While we can’t reverse the occurrences at the World Trade Center, Pentagon, or Shanksville, Pennsylvania, we can choose to focus on the goodness that came out of such tragedy. Family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, and politicians all came together to check on loved ones,  support them in grief, and lend a helping hand to those in need. That is the country we strive to be — on the anniversary of September 11th and always.

Nearly 20 years later, under the leadership of Joe Biden, many watched in sorrow as the nation’s military mission in Afghanistan
– which began less than a month after 9/11 –
came to a bloody and chaotic conclusion.
Once again, innocent lives were lost as well as U.S soldiers - and our government was involved.

An overwhelming share of Americans who are old enough to recall 9/11 remember where they were and what they were doing when they heard the news. Yet an ever-growing number of Americans have no personal memory of that day, either because they were too young or not yet born . . . . and this important piece of American history was not transferred.

A review of U.S. public opinion in the two decades since 9/11 reveals how a badly shaken nation came together, briefly, in a spirit of sadness and patriotism; how the public initially rallied behind the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.

September 11th affected many American lives, and still does to this day. For a short time it united people and had many turning their lives over to God, or renewing their love for GOD. That is what tragedy does.
For a time America was once again living as a Nation seeking GOD, relying upon him.

How quickly people forget the comforting presence of GOD, His flowing blessings & ever near presence when we turn towards him . . .
Human nature never changes.
The Holy Bible has numerous stories about the Jews within the old Testament. They had GOD'S PRESENCE visible in their day, with TRUE prophets who spoke directly from GOD with 100% accuracy - they spoke of GOD'S commands - His blessings for obedience, and warnings for disobedience.
The Jews were always up and down in their desire to faithfully serve GOD.

We like to think that we would be different; that we would always be faithful & obedient to a GOD who is unchanging and true to HIS WORD.
But, in reality most of us do the same thing today.

We forget the way GOD'S presence has surrounded our lives . . . . protecting, blessing, comforting, uplifting, guiding, loving . . . . the little annoyances (as we view them) that were put in our way to stop us or change our path; only to discover that we were saved from some catastrophic event, or held up for some predestined divine plan (maybe an answer to a prayer)

We are no better then the Israelite's of the old Testament. We also ignore GOD'S warnings and allow SIN, PRIDE, IDOLATRY to overtake and consume our lives.
It isn't until God sends forth His RIGHTEOUS JUDGEMENT, that we start allowing our prideful hearts to soften and start acknowledging our sinful disobedience . . . and then decide to seek and return to GOD.

9/11 was a call for American's to return back to GOD . . . and for a short time most did.

There is a lot of questions surrounding the events of 9/11.
What we really need to focus on - is remembering the many lives affected that day.
● Families losing loved ones, children losing parents, parents and children dying, neighbors, friends, co-workers
● The thousands who showed up to help - law enforcement, police, emergency personal, volunteers, working dogs ... all working long hours for a glimmer of hope of still finding folks alive; and later to clear the area. Many of them since suffered health issues from the smoke & toxins in that area.
● to the U.S veterans who were deployed to Afghanistan and Iraq ... many losing their lives, and many others ending up with lifelong injuries and emotional scars

We may not all agree on the facts (we may never find out the full truth) surrounding 9/11

.... but there are some key points we should all be able to agree on.
● GOD united Americans, and it felt good!
● Many innocent lives were destroyed, and thousands impacted - and they should not be forgotten
● SIN DESTROYS, EVIL NEVER RESTS - The enemy is constantly looking for opportunities to attack, divide, and bring America down
- and we should always remain vigilant and prepared
💯👉with GOD as our guide
● America NEEDS GOD
&
a whole lot of prayer
