The PERFECT evidence of just how well you have made their habitat. Comfortable enough to breed.

Congrats on breeding _another_ new species! 🎉
ETA: I had no idea skinks were live bearers. Emily is always teaching me something new and I greatly appreciate it!

Yet more surprise babies! You guys have created an environment so relaxing to your reptiles that they just naturally start breeding. That is amazing and awesome!

I love the fact that they had expanded from just snakes to now so many other species! They have grown so much in such little time ☺️

The deadpan delivery of "Kim, you're fired." without Ed even looking up from examining the babies was perfect xD

Being in Australia, I have had the privilege of raising a baby blue tongue... And they grow SUPER FAST!!!! Enjoy the fun team! 🎉❤

Aww!!

One of the perks of a Snake Discovery tour: The possibility of being able to hold a surprise baby in your hands! 😆😆

I have a blue tongue lizard that lives under my house. Her name is Isadora, Izzy the Lizzie. She sun's herself on the front lawn, near the pond in summer when she is pregnant. She brings them to see me just after birth, then they all go their separate ways. I obviously live in Australia 🇦🇺, where the blue tongues are indigenous. Love your show.

I love how Emily was so excited she just kept a ball python in her hand as she was leaving the back after being paged.

A blue tongue gave birth in my garage once and another in my backyard. The babies kept getting in the house through the gap under the door leading into the house from the garage OR they were trying to hide in the drain in the back garden. Seeing as they'd drown in there if it rained I was constantly checking for them all season. Got like 5 babies out of our house and another six out of the drain. Adorable madness.

This is totally unrelated,
My husband and I took our ball python to the exotic vet for a checkup today, and the vet complimented us heavily on our husbandry and the body condition of our snake. THANK YOU for everything you guys do! Y'all taught us everything we know about our pythons ❤️

I love the moment when Kim made that joke, and then Ed said Kim you're fired, but Emily contradicated him and told Kim she was getting a promotion

Can we get a proper Sharon update please? It's been a while since you got her and it would be cool to see how she's settled in to the zoo. 🐢

I love how annoyed Ed looks before she tells him what it is and 100% mood change instantly!

You know you are doing something right when your animals just breed without you knowing. Lol It just goes to show that you have a great zoo! Congratulations on another new species! 🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤❤

I paused this video halfway, said goodbye to my friends as they left to go to a 4th of July bbq, came downstairs, checked on my sick gerbil Nugget, and she had passed. It's been an hour or two of sanitizing everything and disposing of her body, and I'm back, and I can't help but smile at y'all's energy. Thanks for just existing.

Fun fact, the shingleback skink (also known as the stumpy or walking turd), which is another skink with a blue tongue, give birth to live young.

Parents are monogamous and meet up each year to breed and will raise the babies for several months. It's very cute.

But the baby is so big it's like a person giving birth to a toddler.

I can't wait until summer to see them out and about again.

Kevin from NERD says it’s important to socialize them right away as newborns, no quick hand gestures or loud noises to scare them etc. just calm safe handling to get them on the right track of being great pets
That’s incredible guys, congrats!!
