Hi everyone,

This is by far THE MOST requested look ever ! How to do makeup on someone on 50+. And I’m so happy Kasia accepted to be in this video, it takes courage to be seen in front of so many people so I am so incredibly thankful for having her in this video.
I’d say the way I do makeup on herself is not drastically different than what I do on someone who’s requesting a very natural makeup look. The difference is that I use less quantity of everything. Less foundation, less powder, less concealer etc. Kasia has a super minimalistic style of makeup and I didn’t want to scare her by doing something with too much color or something that would change her face a lot. One of the worst things I could receive is “ I don’t look like me anymore” I want women to still find themselves , but just better after I apply makeup.

I wanted to thank everyone for how sweet and respectful you always are in here!
But I also wanted to tell you a bit more about how I met Kasia and how I realized she's perfect for a video in here.
I did a makeup course with Kasia's good friend Monic ( whom I hope I can have in a video as well) and Monic recommended me to Kasia. Then I did a makeup course with Kasia but I never actually thought she's 57 ( at that time) because I didn't dare to ask ! Then we exchanged IGs and I saw her kids and realized they're just a bit younger than me ! That's when I proposed her to come here and never in a million years thought she'd accept it because she is a very busy woman and she travels a lot. It took us about four months to find a date when we were both in Paris and that was November 7th. I'm so happy that we finally did this video together! Kasia has the sweetest personality, you can talk to her about everything and I think her positive energy comes through. Thank you so much Kasia and thank you ladies for watching this !

Dear Andreaa, this is a beautiful make up and a beautiful lady! BUT, and this is my critism, she is a little bit too perfect as to the problems women over 50 do have. Our problems are (not all mine :D) discoloration, sagging jowls, reduced lip volume, hollowed eyes, droopy eye lids and dark circles around the eyes. And we are quite irritated how to handle or cover these signs of aging when doing our make up. It is not always about the wrinkles but we lose the tightening of the skin which makes make up difficult. Unfortunately, this lady seems to have fillers and she hasn't got one of the problem items I described above. Her skin is a beautiful canvas for a beautiful make up but I do not think that her status is very representative for us eldery women. :(

I love your tutorials Andrea! And I always learn something about make up. As a 59 year-old I do appreciate your doing this video, but I would really love for you to make a new one on this topic (mature skins) with a model with a realistic over-50 skin, with all the usual flaws, wrinkles, dark circles and sun damage. It's so nice to see makeup for a mature face for a change. I'm 50 years old and my face has changed drastically in the past 5 to 10 years and I feel I don't know how to do my makeup anymore. I've been watching video after video without anything really working for me but now I'm definetely going to try a similar makeup as this one and see if it works for me.
