On today’s video at Full Throttle we will be showing you how to save thousands by replacing the OEM brake rotors and pads on any high performance fixed brake set up by doing it yourself! Using OEM and OE parts on today’s project and you can find these products from the links below!! I went with a full Brembo package, with the two piece 360mm rotors upfront and 1 piece Brembo rotors in the rear with their NAO Ceramic brake pads on all four corners. She will be ready to come to stop after this!

These steps include any make and model that uses a Brembo brake caliper or any fixed brake caliper setup. So many are scared of servicing their big Brembo or fixed calipers and it doesn’t matter if it’s an AMG Mercedes, A BMW, Audi, Porsche, Corvette, CTS-V or any other car with performance brakes, You can do it at home with simple inexpensive tools and save thousands!!!

Please like and share, smash that subscribe button so you don’t miss out on any new videos from Full Throttle and please comment down below what you think or this video or if you have worked on your big brakes at home before. On this quick and easy brake service I saved over $4000 dollars VS if I purchased parts from the dealership and paid labor fees for installation.

Very helpful. Just did this job today on my p30. Took a while but no major issues. Not like the motor mounts...Thanks a lot. Oh and I clear coated my rotors to try to stave off some rust and dust for a while.

Nicely done. I have a 2016 E400 and thinking about replacing both front and rear rotors and pads with Brembo setup. Mercedes recommends replacing caliper retaining bolts. Excellent video very helpful. 👍

In addition to performing this brake service, should I change out all 4 of the wheel bearing and hub assemblies? 🤔

A normal 18mm socket wrench is sufficient for the upper and lower bolts on the rear calipers? The top bolt is hard to access.

Hello and thank you for the great video

I usually get all my stuff done at the dealership but now that the car is 6 years old I am getting tired of paying so much for the brembro brakes and rotors every year it seems

Where did you buy the parts from? And I have very little tools so I would need the torque ratchet for sure

2017 GLS63 and with your video I feel more confident to handle this

What's the update on the brakes and rotors? How do they compare to OEM? would you recommend the set up after 9 months? Currently looking for brakes and pads, thinking brembo pads and Zimmer. Rotors. I'm a afraid the brembo rotors wont be as durable and Zimmer. Just because the price difference.

I replaced them today on my 2013 c63 P31 package i messed up the lil screw that holds the rotor I managed somehow to take the old rotor when i install the new rotor i couldn’t put the new screw unless i change the wheel hub so basically the rotor holds on lug nuts do you think i should change the wheel hub or just leave it like that would i have any problem if i just leave it without that bs lil screw that holds the rotor ? Thanks in advance

Hello. Also I have a 2013 performance package, but at Rock Auto the link that you marked was a 2010. It doesn't matter right? It fit my 2013. Also I couldn't find the brake pads for the front. Great video!!! Thumbs up

hey man love the video! I know I'm late to the party but, do you know if these will work on 2009 CL 63 amg ?? the stock rotors are like $1250/ for the rear!! hoping to save some money buying aftermarket but I don't want to compromise on performance.

Are you replacing the rotors everytime you do a brake job or can use the same rotor (assuming it's not below the service limit)? I have a 2017 AMG C63S coupe which needs rear brakes. The rotors are around $450 each and my car only has 27k miles on it and it's rarely driven so I was hoping I can just swap out the pad and use the same rotors until my next brake job is due. The rotors have light groves but they look like normal wear and tear, i didn't feel anything that would catch my finger nail when I drag it across the surface of the rotor. I do feel a slight lip on the very outer and inner edges of the rotor, but it almost feels like that's the way the they from the factory & not sure if that slight lip edge is actually from wear. What would you advise? Do you think at 27k miles I could get away with just a pad replacement?
