Comet C/2011 L4 Panstarrs is currently having a close encounter with the globular cluster M4 in the constellation Scorpius.
In this short 5 frame animation, taken on the 18th May 2012, you can see how far the comet travelled in the 25 minutes that I was imaging it for.
The comet is on the left hand side, about a third of the way down.
Imaged in my backyard using a Canon 550d shooting though an ED80 scope. :)

The comet could be brightest between March 8-12, with a magnitude near -0.5. (JPL HORIZONS prediction)
More info can be had on the Cometography site. Just cut and paste the name of the comet into google and you will find heaps of info. :)
