Two of the most tragic chapters one lost to chaos and the other virtually destroyed.. And for what an imperium that doesn't appreciate them and treat them like expendable souls..

That's how chaos space marines are created abandonment, Betrayal, To be stabbed in the back that's what Huron witnessed same with the Lamenters.. Betrayed and stabbed in the back..

One chose chaos as their savior and the other the other punished themselves to near extinction..

I watch these short videos a few times. I was a Lementer once.

I've been thinking on how the badab war could have been avoided and it always comes back to either when the Lamenters kicking the inquisitor off their ship after he accused them of "not trying hard enough" to destroy a space hulk that mind blasted you.

Or Huron cutting all tithe to the Imperium and creating imperial Gaurd equivalent regiments but ignoring all the rules make a combined arms regiments.

If Huron kept the flow of resources flowing but at a reduced amount to reinforce the maelstrom and instead created mechanised regiments, the Imperium may not see any reason to get involved because no war between the wardens and karthago would happen.

The Astral Claws didn't deserve their fate but in the end they didn't help either.
