Coldplay. Clocks. It's amazing to think about how many thousands of people started playing piano because of this track, who would later go on to discover the classical greats. I still remember messing around with the opening riff when this song had just been released, there's just something so iconic about those arpeggiated chords that still resonates with us all to this day and is so unforgettable. This was my year 4 teacher’s favourite song. He wanted me to play it to him so badly but i never achieved what i thought was good enough. Now I have graduated from that school and listening to this brings back so many memories. Thank you Rousseau. That teacher was try nice to be and that year i learnt the most as he gave separate work to each person. I never learned much in primary school because i was quite a bit above average and it seemed like everything was repeated in class. Thank You Rousseau from creating this nostalgia!

This was probably the first song I learned on the piano, just the basic chords I copied from a friend at school during music class. This song stimulated my interest in the piano and made my father end up buying me one. With the passage of time I was learning much more complex songs and I never took the time to finish learning this one, however, it was my father's favorite song I don't know why and he always asked me to play it. I recently lost it due to the pandemic and was never able to listen to it in its entirety, I think it's time to learn it well and see if you can listen to it from wherever you are.
