Teaser Dispositivo Zero, Venice Biennale #1

In their original meaning ethics and aesthetics were profoundly connected. A harmony between beauty and moral value in classical Greek was called "kalokagathìa".
The film explores this concept by using a hyper-aesthetics language to recount the construction of an object, seemingly trivial but charged with contents, the Dispositivo Zero (Zero Device). The aesthetics of the images are intended to restore their true value to those simple gestures that, observed outside their context, appear to have nothing out of the ordinary, yet they are made special by the overall value of the project TAKING CARE.
The Dispositivo Zero is the starting point and symbol of the collaboration between the five design teams and five associations, who adapted the devices to bring a concrete service to citizens living in outer cities in Italy.
The five devices are tangible proof that even a seemingly ordinary object can acquire the connotations of beauty, when it is invested with a moral purpose.
