I have served the people of Mt Albert for 12 years as the Community Board Chair and Auckland City Councillor. I am the Chair of the Mt Albert Aquatic Centre, with experience on the Balmoral Board of Trustees, Unitec Council, Auckland Business Development Council and as Chair of the Owairaka Institute Management Committee. I lived in Mt Albert for over 30 years with my husband raising our 4 children.. An author and researcher, I am committed making Mt Albert's voice heard in Council decision-making.I cherish Mt Albert's character, heritage and cones, its community facilities, and its parks that families enjoy so much. Our unique residential neighbourhoods and character shopping centers must be protected from over development. Good reliable cheap public transport is the key. Affordable housing. Keep our assets.
