The delays in the 4680 ramp has slowed the production of Cybertruck, Semi, ramps at Giga Berlin and Texas.

I am uninterested in any sort of pick-up truck; but on another note, this afternoon I saw a red Tesla sedan for the first time, and I very much liked the color.

I saw five teslas today on the road, in a very rural conservative US area, it isn't just a fad at this point. I had a chance to invest years ago wish I had.

Its a 4wd 4 door pickup with a locking bed cover and a ramp in the tailgate. It's all high strength aluminum, so it will never rust. With an operating cost of less than a prius. How can you go wrong with it?

When I first saw it at the unveiling I was like WTF... But it has steadily grown on me and now I think it is the most bad ass vehicle out there. I have a sneaky suspicion that once everyone sees one up close, everyone will want one... My prediction is hottest tech item of any kind for 2023/4. Need production is reserve, could sell 1-2 million per year..

Love it & ordered the night Elon said now open for orders. I'm around 18, 000 in line for the trimotor mostly for the range. So I can tow both a utility trailer and a caravan. When towing I expect to lose about 50%ish range bringing it to approximately 250 mile. Cheers from Northern California!!!

If (when) they start pumping the cybers out it will be one of the most popular vehicles. Just based on the 1.5-2 million pre-orders.

If the make a 2/3 scale version with 1&2 motors, i think it would be even more popular, especially globally. A "baby" cybertruck, seats for 4, with 1.5m bed length or so.

As a middle-aged Welshman, Pick-ups have never been a part of my life and I never wanted one - until this! When I first saw the CYBT, I didn't like it....but I couldn't stop thinking about it: I WANT ONE!
Compared to EVERY other pick-up on the market, it's years ahead and uber-cool. This vehicle will kill the F150 and Rivian, stone dead.
I believe that when this vehicle is launched and people actually get to ride in them and see them daily, sales will explode and this will become the biggest selling vehicle of all time.
In fact, I truly believe Tesla are failing here: I don't think they even realise themselves what they have here (This happens sometimes - a company makes a product so good, outsiders take it to another level- this happened to the camera company Canon, when they launched the Canon 5D mk2: this camera changed photography - and FILM-making -forever, not even Canon were ready). Tesla need a whole Gigafactory JUST to make the CYBT. AND TOMORROW!!
Tesla and Musk are being too finnicky, wanting the truck to be super-sophisticated and having all the bells and whistles - Screw That: just get the bloody thing launched!!
I don't care about the gadgets or the gimmicks...I just love the way it looks, period.
I believe Tesla should refocus and get Texas building these things within the next 4 months.
Its a mountain of cash just waiting to be collected.

I loved the cybertruck from day 1. The funny thing is the older generation didn't initially like the design and wanted a traditional truck. I still hear my truck buddies say how it won't be used for work. The narrative keeps changing, and now some construction guys are asking me about the Ford lightning and the Cybertruck. I think the timing is great for the Cybertruck and Ford rushing to put out the lightning was a mistake due to the battery technology and infrastructure not ready for pulling trailers and heavy equipment.

The Cybertruck will be Tesla’s best selling vehicle. It is just so cool, as soon as people actually see them driving around people will want one. I can see Tesla having the 3 best selling vehicles in the world by 2025:-
1:- Cybertruck
2:- Model Y
3:- Model 3
Elon’s stated goal is to ramp 50% year on year until he gets to 20 million EV’s delivered by 2030. I see Cybertruck being his Sgt Pepper, his best ever product and probably accounting for possibly as much as a 3rd of Tesla’s total production. The Cybertruck demand will be absolutely insane when people see them driving around.

Tesla Solar roof was also supposed to be vaporware. I just got scheduled to have solar roof installed, starting tomorrow and complete before the end of the week. Sure, I had to wait almost a year but the products are real! It all comes down to resource allocation and that is not too hard to understand.

To buy a pickup that isnt painted - will have No paint Fade or paint Chipping. A stainless steel body - this will have No Rusting, particularly in regions with Snow, and Coastal areas where ocean salt is carried by the wind. The futuristic Blade runner design will be timeless. The exo skeleton body strength will avoid all those small pabel dents you get on the truck. Having power available via 110 & 220 outlets, this is a cost saving not requiring a generator for site production. You could even power your on site office from the truck. The 6 seat configuration is a bonus which will often save the use of a second truck to get your crew to job site. The 8 foot load bed with the tailgate down is capacity advantage which would avoid those number of times when you have to arrange a semi load pickup.

I ordered one about 6 months after the announcement. Not sure when that was but a while ago. In February this year I guessed I would not get it before the end of 2025 in Australia so I ordered a Model 3. Still waiting for both of course.

The Giga Press for the Cyber Truck is most likely 9, 000 tons, they probably skipped the 8, 000 ton press.

I'm a small truck lover so as is the Cyberruck is not on my radar. Now, if they made a much smaller, 2-seater, extended cab, I'd seriously be interested.
