[EU4 MEME] Centralized VS Decentralized HRE USERS

Decentralized path is for mp pretty much since people in the hre won't want the emperor to Centralize.

I go decentralized purely so I can say "yeah, I did a full run just to go decentralized." The show of dominance after having already gotten the achievements for forming the HRE and the like, but still doing it all over again is very satisfying

I think the only benefits of decentralized is that you can choose when to call in your vassal swarm, which means you won't have to deal with the lag that results from your vassals' troops moving every time you declare war. You also get an _essentially_ free casus belli before imperialism/nationalism.

I formed the HRE tag to complete the missions, but it will put you at a disadvantage because you can't keep all the troops you get from your vassals :(

centralised: vassal swarm great
decentralised: special cb that pulls hre members into war
centralised u get vassal tax
decentralised, members will dev more because they arent vassals.
but reichkrieg comes later than erbkaisertum(u need revoke to vassalise electors and rest should accept vasalisation given they are small enough when u were menaging the empire and have high diplorep and eco)

I actually used decentralization for the austrian mission tree achievement. Late in the game princes get gobbled up so I need to add others to the empire.

People playing the game in the most optimal way everytime big L (Includes me). I think allow people to have their fun RPing decentralized even though it is worse. I am a minmax player as i played majority of my eu4 hours in MP. But if i play with my friends i tend to just set a goal of my country. Say recreate borders of Persian Empire. And everything else becomes vassals.

I once did both, going up the decentralized reforms then revoking reforms to centralize to get vassal swarm with 8 electors and 15 free cities. No particular advantages, just for the heck of it. Poor korchin, used them to revoke all my reforms

I decentralized once only for the Mulhouse achievement lol. It was a fun run, but never again.

they should make the centralize route way more difficult like it should require all of ur attention and generate ae and shit so people have a reason not to take it if they dont plan on focusing in the hre

Decentralized is an actual stronger vassal swarm, since all of the HRE members are considered free independent states they will have a much larger force limit and income, and you can pretty much declare reichkrieg (vassal swarm war) whenever you want

I always thought decentralization fits the vassal better but never b able to integrate ANY of them

You should actually finish the reforms because they become modifiers when you unify the HRE.

I centralize the HRE in order to later annex them all to reduce the game lag.
