There should be a doctors note item that allows you to tape it to a character to get them squished but if reflex catches you with YOU'LL get squished

When squashed, the player can't pick up items or notebooks. But when the other characters get squashed, they're unable to use their abilities. For example, Mrs. Pomp can't invite you to her class, while Arts and Crafters is unable to teleport you
