The legendary Welsh crooner takes to Chicago’s Grainger Studio stage to perform songs from his long and illustrious career, spanning 50 years and 100 million records sold. This exclusive SOUNDSTAGE performance features songs from Jones’ recent, critically-acclaimed albums -- Long Lost Suitcase, Spirit in the Room, and Praise & Blame -- as well as a selection of iconic hits (“It’s Not Unusual,” “Delilah,”) and more that will take audiences on a musical journey back in time and across the musical spectrum. Appearing with Jones is renowned bluegrass singer-songwriter and 27-time Grammy winner Alison Krauss.

Tom Jones will be featured in a new hour-long special in the popular music series SOUNDSTAGE, premiering on PBS stations nationwide in WINTER 2017 (check local listings). This intimate was taped in February 2016 at Grainger Studio/WTTW Chicago. SOUNDSTAGE is a co-production of WTTW Chicago, BMG Rights Management (U.S.) LLC, and HD Ready LLC.

It's very unusual that a 77 year old still sounds as good as over 50 years before. All the big acts from the 60's and 70's lost the most of their original voice. Look like Paul Mccartney, Bob Dylan, Elton John today. Tom Jones takes very good care of himself, his voice is still so strong and powerful thats amazing.
