electron is attracted to the +ve plate and force on it is upward, but the electric field is downward. so they are antiparallel which means their F.d = Fdcos(180) = -Fd, but for the potive charge it will be +Fd, since electric force on the positive is in the same direction as the electric field. was there anything wrong in my sign?
