I had a thought: the chords at 1:09 is a similar sequence to that in part of "Become One" by Fallujah. Christian Muenzner recorded this guitar part, and also taught Scott Carstairs who subsequently plays guitar for Fallujah.

Don't know which guitar part your doing but that song has some of the meanest riffs ever on the cd. Sounds so different when playing one guitar instead of hearing both.
