Takeru performs so well and this scene of tearing melts me much. His actual age is younger than the male lead, Harumichi and also because of his handsome outlook, we can see that he has making efforts to change his hair style, costume, gesture and walking movement to look like a normal guy aged nearly 40. Sure, Hikari Mitsushima acts perfect and all actors have done a good job. Congrats to the whole production team of First Love.

The issues are real.. divorce, pain, hardships, career choice, empathy with persons with disability/ sign language, child custody issues, mother & son relationship, talk about porn materials, little nudity, sacrifice, letting go & most especially the drama is on point.

First love is one of the first jpop songs I've ever heard and still love to this day. This dorama was the perfect mix.

My favorite thing about this show is that wasn't just focused on the love Yae and Harumichi had for each other, but how that love affected their individual lives and the people they had in it.

It wasn't just about their relationship, but how that connection translated into who they were as people, and in turn, how they respond to other people.
