Incredibly underrated movie. Well written and paced, with a ton of heart. Twists and turns galore, and an emotional ending that nobody expects. I'm very pleasantly suprised.

Ugh... I saw the twist coming a mile away at the end and it still gutted me. Was shocked a movie this 'unknown' was so well done. Definitely loved it. One of Netflix's hidden gems, if you haven't watched it yet. Has a lot of heart. A shame it didn't get a bigger notice when it came out, or we could actually have a nice franchise in the works.

Just found this on Netflix, loved the movie. It make less than a million at the box office on a 27m budget. Apparently there were law suits that prevented the producers using 10 million on marketing the film which is why it flopped at the movies and went straight to dvd in western countries. Real shame :(

Absolutely LUV LUV LUV this movie I agree it is a hidden gem and I wish there was a sequel coming out. This movie is still better than half that bullish in theaters. Definitely will start reading the books now.

I can't believe there was a marketing spat and lawsuit that prevented this film from receiving full exposure... Such a shame. Loved the book and I loved the movie. I will never listen to RottenTomatoes again. One too many inaccurate reviews. I am beginning to think they are getting paid by different parties to raise the ratings on certain movies. Really entertaining and great actors in this film.

I read the book almost a year ago, and recently saw the movie a couple of months ago. I must say, the book was good, and the movie was good!! I am now reading Dean Koontz 'Deeply Odd' an Odd Thomas Novel. So far, it is a really good book!!!
