I found that the Metra electronics wire harness works for both Infinity systems and the entry level radio in my Sorento. Also, you may not need a steering wheel convertor box. If your head unit accepts analogue commands (Such as the Atoto A6 PF), all you need to install the steering wheel control is pins 5 and 6 from connector C2. (Diagram may be found by searching "Radio pins of 2012 Sorento.") Be sure to connect pin 6 to ground of the new radio harness and pin 5 to the steering wheel input of the new radio harness. Hi, thanks for the video. Helped alot to remove the old stereo.
I have the unit with the amplifier, is the harness you linked the right harness for my vehicle. I’m not sure what type of amplifier I have but it’s located underneath the front passenger side which for me is on the left’ side of the vehicle as drivers side is on the right in Australia.

2007 sorento wiring without a harness. I just bought a double din to hook up and there are no resources for wiring to the current radio wires.
