I heard the sloshing alot. If you look under each of the doors once they are open, there are two rubber bungs that when you remove them, water will then drain out the doors.

The sound of fuel moving around is a problem, seriously? I had to replace a leaky cool pump and coolant reservoir (due to stuck float). I'd consider those bigger problems (and I've heard those are common as well).

I’ve owned my 2.0cdti 2012 hatchback since 2017 and I’ve never heard this sound until I drove it today. I have a full tank of diesel could this be the problem?

most annoying problem I had was the rear lights on the bootlid leaking water into the boot

The sloshing sound is caused by an apparent Lack of Baffels in the tank AFAIK, So without the Baffels the fuel will just move to the front and rear of the tank.

Thanks for this - I get the same 'sloshing' sounds from my Astra J CDti 2.0 auto estate. Hopefully they learned from this model and designed the Astra K with soundproofing to stop it..

As mentioned it's baffles inside the tank that fix the issue not sound proofing. It was a warranty fix from Vauxhall on the early Astra Js. Unfortunately mine was not done so I mostly only fill to half a tank.

The sloshing sound is water trapped in the sill panels. Look under the sill panels you will see rubber bungs. remove them and you will see all the water run out

The problem is having a full tank. I only fill up 3/4 and it's fine

I’ve heard the tank fuel washing around but the door water in it is crap designed. I have a problem at the moment with a knocking on front suspension every time I go over small bumps in the road I hear the knock. I have had all the ball joints checked by a mechanic if fact I there and no movement in the joints. So it’s driving me mad. Apart from that they are a great car. Parts are so cheap a replacement door complete lovely condition £40 eBay unbelievably cheap.
