🌿📚 «Η ποίηση δεν είναι πολυτέλεια. Είναι ανάγκη. Είναι ζωή.»
Με αυτά τα λόγια ως αφετηρία, πραγματοποιήθηκε μια ξεχωριστή διαδικτυακή συνάντηση λογοτεχνών, αφιερωμένη στα 100 χρόνια από τη γέννηση του Μανόλη Αναγνωστάκη, με αφορμή την Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Ποίησης και τον εορτασμό της Άνοιξης – της αναγέννησης των λέξεων, των ψυχών και των ελπίδων. Στη συνάντηση, που εντάσσεται στη δράση της 13ης Λέσχης Ανάγνωσης ΔΑΔΑ του Συνδέσμου Πολιτισμού Ελλάδας Κύπρου (ΣΠΕΚ), συμμετείχαν και συνομίλησαν με λόγο βαθύ και ουσιαστικό:

🖋️ Ο Δρ Ιωσήφ Σ. Ιωσηφίδης, Αντιπρόεδρος του ΣΠΕΚ και ποιητής
📖 Η φιλόλογος Πόπη Μπίσσα
🎓 Η καθηγήτρια Νεοφύτα Ευαγγέλου

Μαζί θυμηθήκαμε την πορεία του ποιητή της ήττας, του ποιητή της σιωπής, του ποιητή της βαθύτερης αλήθειας, Μανόλη Αναγνωστάκη.

Διαβάσαμε, αφουγκραστήκαμε και στοχαστήκαμε πάνω στους στίχους του, που – παρά την πίκρα και τη διάψευση – εξακολουθούν να εκπέμπουν ένα υπόγειο φως ελπίδας.

Γιατί η ποίηση είναι
το πρώτο κλάμα,
ο τελευταίος αποχαιρετισμός,
ο έρωτας, η απώλεια, η θυσία,
το χέρι που απλώνεται όταν όλα γύρω καταρρέουν.

Και κάπως έτσι, σε πείσμα της εποχής της εικόνας, των αριθμών, των πρόσκαιρων "χειροκροτημάτων", εμείς επιλέξαμε σήμερα τη λέξη, τη σιωπή και τη συνάντηση.

Και στο τέλος, διαβάσαμε για όλους εκείνους που "τώρα πια δεν χειροκροτοῦν, δεν χειροκροτοῦνται"...

🌿📚 "Poetry is not a luxury. It is a necessity. It is life."

With these words as a starting point, a special online meeting of writers took place , dedicated to the 100 years since the birth of Manolis Anagnostakis, on the occasion of World Poetry Day and the celebration of Spring - the rebirth of words, souls and hopes.

The meeting, which is part of the 13th Reading Club of the Greek Cypriot Cultural Association of Cyprus (GCCC), was attended and discussed with profound and meaningful words:

Together we remembered the path of the poet of defeat, the poet of silence, the poet of deeper truth, Manolis Anagnostakis.

We read, listened and reflected on his lyrics, which - despite bitterness and denial - still emit an underground light of hope.

Because poetry is
the first cry,
the last farewell,
love, loss, sacrifice,
the hand that reaches out when all around is crumbling.

And so, in spite of the age of the image, of numbers, of temporary "applause", we have chosen today the word, silence and encounter.

And in the end, we read about all those who "now no longer applaud, no longer applaud..."
