Thank you. My sister is a nurse and said 90% of people have hsv1, so her clinic doesn't even test for it unless someone ask... I didn't have an outbreak, but my doc just tested me for sti's and that came back positive. Hey guys your not alone I have an outbreak right now, everyone who says they don’t have about how likely it is they’ve never been tested, all the partners they’ve had and just because they show no signs they think there good. Then think about the percentage of people they know have it, and then think about how that number might be dwarfed by all the untested people. I don’t think I know anybody that’s been tested.

Ya.... Have always had mild cold sores on my tongue. Have a current partner who is VERY efficient. So after dealing with lots of stress because of my divorce, I came down with a horrible outbreak. Bad sores both orally and genitally, fever, swollen lymph nodes, fatigue, whole package. 😕

I was falsely diagnosed with hsv 1 and 2 but after comphensive testing it was determined a poor treatment from a tooth extraction triggered a series of events in my body but nevertheless I don't have it but I'm here to help In any way I can I'm not troll or a bot I'm real life person

Good diet and exercise plus taking vitamins have reduced the frequency so much that I almost don’t get them at all anymore, however I I do still get them about a once a year sometimes a bit more

Lot of people have it or come into contact but not everyone gets an outbreak it’s very low percentage that have outbreaks you should say that

It's nearly impossible to avoid oral herpes. If you wear a mask your entire life and you do not kiss, touch or speak too closely to someone you might have a chance of not getting it. It's good to know when you have it because you should take precations when practicing oral sex to someone. You can use some meds to supress the virus and be able to enjoy oral sex too. I tested positive for HSV1, with no sympthoms at all. There is no need to worry too much about HSV1 or HSV2.

I'm. 48 and since the age of 27 I always had it on my leg. It was a shock but I started to learn to live with it and since years taking loads of lysine always did wonders, preventative and during the outbreak. I was always super happy I didn't have it in my face! Now all of a sudden I have all these spots around my mouth and am freaking out!

Quote Hsv1 and Hsv2 is the exact same thing. Just slightly different/ different HELLO they are not the same thing!

My hsv-1 outbreak gave me a really bad eyes infections, with no cold sores and no blisters.
Its really weird because i got nothing on orals

I girlfriend has type one i don't have non yet how common is it to get it from her? Also how common is it for her to give it to my genitals? Please i need help I don't want to leave her because of this I really love her but I'm scared and once you catch genital is it forever

If you’ve only had outbreaks on your genitals and never orally but your test shows that you have both type 1 and 2, does that generally means you also have it orally and not just on your genitals ?
