VCDS Tweaks added to my Polo GT|VW/Audi Group Mods

Tweaks I did to my car through VCDS (*unique to vw/audi group*)

VCDS is a diagnostic tool for VW/audi group which lets your write onto to the stock code as well, changing a few things here and there and to unlcok a few more existing features

-Needle swipe
-anti theft alarm
-instantaneous fuel economy
-litres to full
-tear wiping
-brake assist
-brake boost

Are the few tweaks I've done to my car
Further, speed chimes can be removed for bs6 cars through vcds as well

Yes, you do require this tool for majority of these tweaks
There are some tool which let you write onto the code but this VCDS is the best out of all if you have a few VWs, this tool is a great investment

I'm pretty sure we haven't gotten these changes done to our car but it has instantaneous fuel economy. For your information, it's the 2011 Vento 1.6 TDI Highline.

Thanks a lot. I installed Euro spec Air guide (which Boodmo took almost a month to deliver though) by watching this video, I also have BMC Stock replacement Air filter in my 1.6 Mpi, I did feel a difference in throttle response and bottom end now. Could you suggest any OBD app to monitor intake temperature, etc?

Man I’ve got an issue with my WRC kit DRLs. I got them Installed and not able to have them running when the ignition is turned on, without car’s engine running till the ignition notch, the DRLs do work. But as soon as I switch the car in, they flicker and go off.

I tried VCDS 17 version, for my 2015 GT TSI. Haven’t had much luck. We are not able to see BIT19, apparently that’s where we need to toggle. I could really use some help,

Question:
1. Is my BCM the problem here? or
2. VCDS version 17 isn’t apt? or
3. How else can I rectify this?
