One of Lauren and I’s passion is to write songs that we could envision ourselves singing around the throne in heaven, thousands of years from now. Hallelujah, We Praise You is to us a timeless, vertical, declaration of our adoration. It is a beautifully simple, corporate offering of our worship to Jesus who is Worthy and Holy, as we “sing the song we will always sing”.

Non conosco bene la storia del vostro gruppo musicale, e non posso conoscere tutto ciò che è stato ma posso dire che sono venuto a conoscenza della cantante Lauren Alexandria pochissimo tempo fa, alcuni mesi fa, con i video del 2015-2016-2017, ecc... di IHOP e ciò che ho potuto apprezzare non è solo la voce, la sicurezza, la bravura, la passione sua e di altri come lei, ma anche la semplicità con cui si trascorre quel tempo di preghiera e lode. Quello che invece ho notato ascoltando oggi questo brano è l'enorme diversità di intenzioni e il mix così diverso da quei video che profumavano davvero di Cristo. La sensazione, per non dire la percezione, è che tutti i cantanti cristiani, più crescono di notorietà e più tendono ad assomigliare tra loro stessi e alla musica del mondo, per prendere un pubblico più largo, ciò è un dispiacere. Non ho messo un dislike a questi video, ma è ciò che lasciano nel mio cuore, per quanto ben fatti e moderni, si allontanano molto dalla bellezza di quelli di anni fa. Con la tua voce e con la tua bravura e passione cara Lauren puoi restare originale, anche se non ti fa diventare famosa, questo è il mio commento. Il Signore vi guidi.
