STOP Falling For Instagram 'Promotion' Scams (Do This Instead)

I'm sick and tired of getting 15 comments on every instagram post asking me to pay $15 to promote my music to a massive audience. It's obviously a bot scam, so why do people keep falling for it?

Coming from the animation side of life, not music. However, thank you for saving me plenty of money. I'm currently being hit by promotional bots on my new Instagram account and wasn't sure about them. However, Google searching brought me to this post and I'm so glad it did. They should just make a better verification process to create an IG so bot accounts can’t be made in the first place.

Thanks a lot for these tips. Priceless. I almost fell for these paid promotions, even though I could tell the account was fake. Goes to show anyone can get suckered into these scams...thanks a lot!

I post 100s of reels for years. And have gained 1200 followers lol. Every time I gain one I lose two. It’s very much like I’m being bottle necked, black balled or shadow banned on social media

Over on TikTok same ordeal hard to break out of 2-300 views

And on YouTube shorts
Hard for them to gain over 1000

There are a few exceptions
But for amount I post
Quality of content
I really should have more than 5k subs in a darn decade

Thank you for this video. I actually tagged Instagram and Instagram business on my story asking specifically for public accounts for the setting to be able to have to approve followers and to not allow message requests from people you don’t follow.

Thank you for your video last night I got home from a long flight so I posted pictures of my flight on IG and they are pretty good pictures in my eyes. Everything sound too good to be true which usually means it’s not real. With your video it helped me stay straight and not fall for it and felt 100% good about not continuing with it. I was just tagged in a post from someone who expected me to pay for them promoting my page without my permission expecting $10 and they were too eager to get the money which alarmed me because they said they were gonna send an invoice when I said I will pay later that’s why I’m here

Why report bot accounts to Instagram when Instagram is the one creating the bot accounts ? Lol
