As an xray tech this isnliterally torture. Can get the same result if mom/dad present raising babys arms

I shouldn't laugh, BUT this does look funny. Probably stressful for parents to see though 😢

As a retired X-ray tech, I'm happy to say, I never had to use one of these on my tiny pts. I took the time necessary to work with the child, and their parents, to get the diagnostic results the Radiologist needed . But, I do recognize the last resort need for the pig-o-stat.

I was an xray tech and the design of the seat is terrible. Their full weight is on their crotch and obviously hurts. A saddle seat would work much better...sadly no ones gonna listen to my idea😢. I just saw a few things that I felt could be kinder and less painful or traumatic❤ Thanks Dr. M.

I dont care what its for....THAT is hard to watch
..makes the mommy me sick and furious! the worst part is that baby is too little to understand.
