What's your thoughts on the GT4 Cayman and 918 Spyder too.... I am keen to get a 718 spyder this winter.

991.2's are pretty hard to beat. Great engine, arguably better looking than a 992 (especially the front end), less huge than a 992, and about as nice an interior as Porsche has ever made with a nice blend of digital and analog gauges.

The RS is too impractical and too wild to look at. It’s a race car. The allocation addiction is at insane levels now and flooding the market; Porsche builds, people buy. Too many people with not enough money needing to escape the car, it’s a sad reality/situation.
992 GT3 is best option imo. It’s useable and issues being sorted under warranty, so they’ll all be fixed foc. Porsche don’t make the new car worse than the previous, but I see the attraction of the 997; its smaller dimensions are noteworthy; 991-992 less so.
I think the 992 GT3, with wing and manual ‘box is a sweet spot. Not many made. Next up is the 997.2 GT3. If it’s a 991 you like, then the 991.1 RS is best choice for £ fun. Good videos… keep em coming

Pay per mile would be crazy! We already effectively pay per mile in fuel duties (more trips = more tax money on the fuel we buy). It's kind of destined to fail because if anything it will slow down the use of cars and thus the tax revenue they attest to be seeking! More like a war on the car than a tax revenue

Pay per mile will be on everything not just electric. That's part of a wider strategy to bring in a socal credit system. Think of China and you get the idea. 'They' don't want 'you' driving or going anywhere but 'they' will live life normally with no restrictions

Every GT car is an over msrp car eventually, a gt4rs is a great investment, theres less half of production run of gt3rs.

In the US they’re asking $250, 000 for a 718 GT4RS. And the RS spyder. Porsche has lost their minds. I had 3 GT3s and I’m done. I sold my 991.2 gt3 and went to a new Z06/Z06 until I figure out what car I’m going to get next. Ferrari Lamborghini McLaren or another GT product when the world stops being crazy

718 Spyder RS non weissach would be the one id like, im really not convinced the weissach pack makes the car look better or gives you a return on the investment.

I’ve been watching the 718 GT4 pricing and they’re definitely reducing albeit gradually and modestly. The headline price isn’t always reflected in PCP payment amounts and have found that residual value (influenced by spec especially PDK) is highly influential 😊
