Very satisfying firing an engine up for the first time👍 always amazes me how even when cranking over the different makes have a specific sound. Any DB men could said that was a DB engine just by listening to it cranking over. The very old internationals are very distinctive as well

Just bridge the starter motor across onto the exciter wire then you don’t be getting pry bars glowing or causing bit sparks

Great Job from Rob on the DB. I’m not familiar in agriculture but have never seen someone rebuild an engine and it start first try (after a little warm up) with nothing seemingly going wrong. Sounded very quiet too!

Funny story, last time I was present on an engine rebuild, they tried it so much that the starter motor solenoid stuck and we had to change starter motor halfway through, then after all that work it spun a big end about 20 mins in after doing some light pulls on a dyno 🤣

If your doing underfloor heating, leaven up the water pipe first for a while before the concrete goes down, seen a few mess up and leak lol, the browner is alive, sounds good
