Das Hauptthema des Spiels Tetris (Korobeiniki) spielte das WDR Funkhausorchester beim Konzert "Gaming Sounds" unter der Leitung von Michael Seal am 20.11.2020 im WDR Funkhaus Wallrafplatz, Köln.

Jedes mal beim Einkafen schwirrt mir die Melodie durch den Kopf, wenn es darum geht die Einkäufe in die Tüten bzw. das Auto zu stopfen, und zwar so, das alles perfekt passt. Das schwierige Level ist bei der Kassiererin, die die Einkäufe nur so durch den Scanner fliegen lässt. Da muss man richtig mit System ran, damit es sich nicht staut.

Wunderschöne Umsetzung! Werde ich vielleicht mal einfach so an der Kasse spielen lassen. Gegen schöne Musik ist ja nichts einzuwenden.

The Russian song "Кorobeiniki" (Or "Korobushka") dates back to about 1861, These are the times of the Russian Empire. Tetris was created in 1984 in the USSR. So there is no surprise for the Russians, we knew this song before the game. It is not so surprising to us that a Russian person used a Russian song for a Russian game 😄
Thank you, I liked your performance. Usually on the Internet I find a "Кorobeiniki" performed on the piano. Or a wonderful performance by the Red Army Choir. Your interpretation was really fascinating and interesting. Thanks! 💖
