minor problem with Dr. Chu's analysis. wind has gone up in price both machines and LCOE in the last decade not down. so much for the learning curve. and solar module price reduction is paralleled a margin reduction by the major producers such as first solar and trina. that was the same thing that happened in wind back in 2000-2002. there is no major technological breakthrough that has driven down solar prices in the last few years. the graph should be of cost relative to efficiency.
