Regarding 4K recording for table top videos:
"Recording limitations: By default, in 4K filming mode, the camera will stop recording after 5 minutes. (Overheating protection). To overcome this, change the settings under “Setup 2” – Auto Power OFF Temp, and apply “High”. Now recording up to 30 minutes should be possible"

I'm confused about the overheating issue. Some reviews say 1 hour, no problem, doesn't shut down. some reviews, like yours say far less 4K recording time. so which is it reviewers?

I currently use a Canon G7x ii so will be looking at the Sony ZV1 vs G7x mark iii... Question is about the steadyshot, is there an option for different levels of this on the Sony or is it just on/off? I felt the footage was a little jittery on the Sony? (although that probably won't matter for my filming style haha

Wish there was a lanyard hole on that grip because if you drop it all your gear goes bye bye!
EDIT: Actually I don't notice one on the camera either. Is there any sort of strap mount on the camera or handle? Seems odd to omit since it is a device with high drop risk operation.

I got a solution for the 24mm problem. JOBY!!!! the camera stick with controls is very cool but a JOBY would give you the arms length extension needed for vlog. good review. thnx MARTY SENDER YOU TUBE
