I agree with you. Having your bed down low is much better than the lifted platform that ive seen in others. Overall....very well done. Im gonna take onboard a lot of yours for when I set up mine. Thanks for posting this. Rob.

Nice setup man. I love these cars. I'm on my second CR-V, my first was 1st Gen 2001. I have a 2004 now and I love, I'm not exactly an overlander but like to camp a bit and plan on augmenting the car quite a bit. I've learned a few techniques and items and gear from your videos, so thanks man, I appreciate it.

Do you have video of how the winch was installed? Great video.

Can’t believe you were able to make those 275x75 15s work with those rims. I’m using 205x70 15s Yokohama Geolanders.

G'day mate.. awesome set up on your Gen 2 Honda.. Love your mods. I was thinking of doing an external trans cooler on mine as due to were I live here in Australia and in QLD it gets hit here in summer... Im running 2157016 BFG A/T on mine. Love the winch set up

Interest set up some great ideas for sure, did you use spacers on top of the struts or just the bilstien and Kyb struts and springs,

just curious, how tall are you? Looking to compare to see if this is a good vehicle for me (im quite tall.)

It's a thumbs up from me!! Great job on all of this, especially tucking that winch into the front so nicely, and adding the trans cooler. The ride height looks excellent too...not too over-done. I'm with you on the gas tank being hung down so low, situation. What was Honda thinking? If you haven't seen them, 2 companies are making big skid plates for the front ends. HRG Off Road has them. Aerogenics (here in SoCal) has them, and they also make the big Cat-Converter protection box (which I just installed). If you find you'd use it, one of those 12v powered 2, 000ish lb, electric winches would be killer for the rear, and they just slide over a 2" hitch ball. They even have a cable remote. Could probably stow behind your passenger seat, next to the air pump. Tree-saver strap with a pulley, and you'd be at 4, 000lbs of pull.

3mos ago, I purchased an '05 EX model, with 5spd manual trans, in the "Silver Moss Metallic" that's just a shade darker than yours. So far, I really like it.

Hey bro. Just bought a new 05 CRV. You said that the transmission gets pretty hot. Is that something I should worry about and should I put in a trans cooler. If I should put one in how hard is it to install

Great looking car and some super clever build items. What are the details on that little table?? I’ve wanted something like that for a long time.

best setup I've seen! any reason why you didn't keep the back seats, and run a platform over them? I could see the inverse, with luggage being stored underneath

Great job. Ideal setup for my rural environment. What are the specs of the shocks and springs please?

Super cool!
I have a 2004 manual one.
Question for the trunk door - I have read they're prone to sagging when overloaded. Are you worried about that? How long screws dis you use for the little table?

These hondas sagg in the rear. I just changed my whole suspension with stock parts again. I guess your lift kit is preventing the rear to drop when loading the car. But that is noticable when you have people in the back.

How did you make the bed? Can you share sizes or maybe make a video about how to make one? Is it perfectly tailored for the space or just approximately?

Do you mean 215 75 r15? You said 275 75 r15 but that would be absolutely massive.
