2012 BMW 525d xDrive Top Speed

Driving in BMW 525d xDrive with 218hp (MY2012 / F10) on the German Autobahn at topspeed.

You do hear wind noise like in the video, but the 5-series is really quite. When driving the new BMW 335i I noticed that the wind noise in the 3-series is quite a bit higher.

Hy, this model it is a 4x4 . The speed is lower then a 520d ( rear-wheel drive) . 525xd has compared to a rear-wheel drive car, a transfer box, a longitudinal shaft and a differential. The torque is transmitted 50:50 between the two decks.

ben 2008 model E60 kasa 520d aracmla 248 son hız yapıyorum. Ama iyice basıldıktan sonra, motor iyice açıldıktan sonra görebiliyorum 248'i. Dizeller yüksek devir çevirdikçe açılıyor. Bu araç çok rahat 250 görür. Ama yapmasını bilenle... Uzun süre tam gaz gitmesi lazım kullananın. Açıldıktan sonra da daha kolay ve çabuk çıkıyor o hızlara...

superb acceleration till end of 5 gear 160-170 kmh and then ...

That is correct, it has the 8-speed automatic transmission.

1. You do not use Sport Mode
2. Perhaps you are using 19" rims or bigger with wide tires.
3. Perhaps you were uphill.

I have the same car and with 18" rims is faster than this. It actually hits 240km/h and it does so more easily

Something is wrong with this car, im bmw machanic and they are much faster!! Thats for sure, a 520d is faster than this one, sorry for bad eng!
