If this officer acted in self-defense, I got 100 acres for sale in New York City for $5.00 an acre.

He killed her. Period. He didn’t even announce himself nor gave her time to comply.

I still say it was murder, with a side of miscarriage of justice. He did not announce he was a cop.

As a man, I would accept my fate. Wonder if he's apologized to the young boy.

Accountability is not Justice, These Murderers deserve much more, most of them are still getting away

I can support the manslaughter but anything less than 10 years will be a disgrace. He violated good LE practices and training as well as her 2nd Amendment rights.

Even if the victim pointed a gun at the Officer he was lurking in her back yard. The call was for a welfare check NOT a Burglary. The woman’s front door was open lights on. No noise because her and her nephew were playing video games in the back room.

To many police officers are afraid so why are they police officers

The real reason its harder to convict police officers is because most of them have worked with most of the DA's and Judges and how are you ever gonna convict someone you have a history with.

This is a very sad story. R.I.P. Atatiana. Glad he has been convicted. We all just had to suffer through this really pathetic interview. The correspondent did NOT answer the question as to what the "facts of the case" were. He stopped midstream ending at "burnt hamburger". The hosts were stumbling and bumbling from the start. The sloppiness that passes for news delivery is so low at this point, idiocracy is assured!!!

I normally charge for my wisdom. If you want to save lives. Then become a doctor. If you want to build things. Then become a carpenter. If you want to commit crimes and get away with it. Then become a policeman. Now pay me please.

Great, now send him to prison. He should get closer to the 20max but he’ll get the 2min and probably won’t serve all of it. If so = justice denied.
